Settings
Every pane and every control.
Open Settings with ⌘, on the Mac, or from the tab bar or More list on iPhone and iPad. On the Mac the panes are listed down the left with a search field; type part of a setting's name to find it.
Account
- Profile Photo: Choose Photo…, Replace Photo… or Remove Photo. It appears on collections you share.
- Public Handle: an @handle of lower-case letters, numbers, dots, underscores and hyphens, or blank.
- Subscription: the Free and Pro plan cards. Free allows three collections with five items each; Pro is unlimited and includes Reports, Insights and Curator. Choosing a plan in the current build records your preference.
Appearance
- Theme (Mac): Ledger (Dark), always dark, or Classic, which follows the Appearance setting.
- Appearance: Light, Dark or System.
- Accent: the accent colour. Match Accent and Charts & Selection on the Mac let charts use a different colour.
- Default Item Card Style for the grid.
- Show Power Search and Show Grid / List Switch (Mac) add those controls to the Library toolbar.
- Clean Mode hides the icon, title and subtitle masthead at the top of the Collection, Insights, Loans, Reports, Sales and Commerce sections.
- Flat Chrome replaces the glass panels with flat ones.
- Lockup as Artwork draws the Collections. wordmark from a fixed image.
- Show value toggles in the toolbar (Mac) moves the Insurance/Cost and Count/Value switches out of the Insights cards.
The lightbulb on the Home hub toggles between Ledger and Classic light.
General
- Defaults: Currency, the base currency for totals; Owner Name, the byline on reports; Collection, the favourite opened by the launch option; Library Layout, Library keeps items and makers together, Split gives makers their own section; Video Size Limit; Show Marketplace.
- Launch: On Launch, Open Home, Last Collection or a Specific Collection; Enter Button Position, near the divider or near the footer.
- Reports: Paper Size, Seal on All Reports, Compliance Statement. See Reports.
- Notifications: the Loan Reminders status.
- Quick Actions (iPhone): a Command Palette button.
- Menu Bar (Mac): Show in Menu Bar, Keep in Menu Bar When Closed, Open at Login. See Menu bar, widgets and shortcuts.
Home Hub
- Sections: switch and reorder Portfolio Stats, My Collections and Recently Added, with Reset Section Order on the Mac.
- Options: Show Cover Images on collection cards; Collections Layout of grid or carousel (Mac); Show Quick Actions (Mac); Show Greeting (Mac); Show Mock Data Switch (Mac), which adds a button for previewing the hub with stand-in collections; Show Store (iPhone); Recently Added Range.
Sidebar (Mac)
- Show in Sidebar: a switch per section, and Show All Sections.
- Order: Reset Sidebar Order.
- Chrome: Simplified shows Curator, Profile and Settings as rows instead of a four-icon footer.
- Recents: Show Recents in Sidebar, the Recents Layout, whether to Allow switching between Added and Viewed, and the Sidebar Recents Range.
Data
- Import & Export. See Exporting and backups.
- Backups, encrypted snapshots you can roll back to or restore as a copy.
- Locations. See Storage locations.
- Cloud Backup to Dropbox or OneDrive.
- Migrate from Previous App. See Importing.
- Tidy Library. See Tidy Library.
- Sample Data: Load Sample Collection, which adds three makers, two collections and three items; Demonstration Collection, which adds or removes The Influential Twenty.
Sync
The status row, Work Offline, Download Everything, Re-send Collection Memberships, the diagnostics and Copy Sync Diagnostics. See iCloud sync.
Privacy
- Require Authentication on Launch asks for Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode each time the app opens.
- PIN Lock sets a PIN. See Privacy and security.
- Beta Diagnostics: Count Usage on This Device, an on-device tally of which sections and actions you use; Usage So Far; Copy Usage Summary; Reset Counts. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you paste the summary somewhere yourself.
Curator
The on-device model's status and an Open Curator button. See Curator.
